Named for the late Warren B. Cozzens, founder of Marquette Electronics, now part of GE Medical Systems. Why do we refer to this cabin as 3-1/2? It’s because in 1997, we tore down two of the original cabins, (#’s 3 and 4) and replaced it with this beauty.
This gorgeous year-round, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has knotty-pine interiors, a fieldstone fireplace and a cathedral ceiling in the living room. The large screened porch looks out onto the lake and has an extra dining table and chairs. The Marq also features a full kitchen and dining area and two TVs, two VCR/DVD players a boom box and board games. One ensuite bedroom contains a CA king-sized bed and a full bathroom; the second bedroom has a double bed and a set of bunks; and the third bedroom houses a brand new, very comfortable double bed. For extra sleeping space, a futon mattress is available in this cabin to roll out where you please.
The Marq was built in 1998, replacing two of the original cabins. Since then, it has quickly become the cabin of choice at the resort. The view from the large screened porch is Northwoods serenity defined. There’s a cool church pew out there and the view is awesome.
