Air Travel

From the Rhinelander Airport
From the airport, turn left onto Hwy. 8 East and travel a mile to Hwy 47 North (left). Travel north to Minocqua/Woodruff, which is approximately a 20 minute drive. Turn left onto Cty. Hwy. J (on a slight angle) and travel to the stoplight that intersects Hwy. 51. If you miss Cty. J – which is entirely possible – you'll still end up at a stop light on Hwy. 51. Turn left (heading south) and travel to Hwy. 70 West (just past the Hardee’s). Turn right onto Hwy 70 and drive 14.6 miles to Amber Lake East Road. Our road arrow will be visible on the right hand side of the road. Turn left on Amber Lake East and travel 3/4 mile to your first right. This is North Amber Lake Lane. Our sign is on the corner. Turn right, and then, take an immediate left onto Sandy Point Lane, following the arrows. Sandy Point Lane will take you to our front office.

Driving Directions

Sandy Point Resort and Disc Golf Ranch is located 15 miles west of Minocqua, just off of Hwy. 70 West, in the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods.

From Chicago, Rockford and Madison
Take 90 West through Rockford and into Wisconsin. Follow 90 (past Madison) to Exit 108-B, following signs to Stevens Point/Wausau. Hwy 39 will become Hwy. 51 North. Take this to Minocqua and follow through town. At the stoplight just past Mc Donald's, turn left onto Hwy 70 West. Travel 14.6 miles to Amber Lake East Road. Our road arrow will be visible on the right hand side of the road. Turn left on Amber Lake East and travel 3/4 mile to your first right. This is North Amber Lake Lane. Our sign is on the corner. Turn right, and then, take an immediate left onto Sandy Point Lane, following the arrows. Sandy Point Lane will take you to our front office.

From Milwaukee
Take 94 West to 90 West near Madison. Follow above directions.

From the Twin Cities
Take 35 E (North) to US Hwy 8 into Wisconsin. Head north on Hwy. 13 to Fifield. At the 70 West junction, turn right and travel approximately 25 miles to Amber Lake East Road. (You will first see Amber Lake West road and then cross over Amber Creek. Squaw lake East is 1.5 miles past the creek.) Our road arrow will be visible on the right hand side of the road. Turn right onto East Squaw and travel 3/4 mile to your first right. This is North Amber Lake Lane. Our sign is on the corner. Turn right, and then, take an immediate left onto Sandy Point Lane, following the arrows. Sandy Point Lane will take you to our front office.
